The Conservative Party-
- Right Wing

- Broad range of traditional conservatives and royalists, neo-liberals and social conservatives.
- Opposing views within the party on the issue of whether Britain should be in the EU
This front page clearly states that the Daily Express supports the conservatives, due to the fact they say the outcome will be bad if May doesn't win.

- Wants Britain to withdraw from the European Union
- Xenophobic views
This again shows that the Daily express has clear views on which party the newspaper supports, as it infers that UKIP will make the country great.
BNP - British National Party-
- An extreme right-wing party
- Nationalistic and xenophobic views
- No members of parliament
The Sun here shows xenophobic views as it implies that it is bad to feel sympathy to Jihadis, which it is not.
Liberal Democrats-
- A party of the centre
- Mixture of social conservatives and social democrats
- Pro-European Union
This front page from the Daily Mail clearly shows their support for the Lib Dems, as they present a good view on the coalition.
The Green Party-
- A centre-left party
- Could be considered as Middle class
- Committed to the promotion of environmental issues
The Independent shows their interest in environmental matters, which supports what the Green Party believe in.
The Labour Party-
- Left wing
- Includes a smaller party known as the Co-operative party
- Made up of local parties, most British trade unions and other associations.
- They want Britain to remain in the EU
The Guardian front page here show Jeremy Corbyn presented in a good light, from which we can infer that the newspaper supports the Labour party.
Respect-
- The party of a populist left-wing Labour party dissident
The Communist Party of Great Britain-
- Small group
- Its peak was in the 1940s, yet was still a small party.
SNP - Scottish Nationalist Party-
- The most important political party in Scotland, at this point in time
- It is the party in power in the current Scottish parliment
- Left-of-centre nationalist party
- Organized a referendum on Scottish independence in autumn 2014
- Nicola Sturgeon is thinking of holding a second referendum, due to the fact that most of Scotland wanted to remain in the EU, whilst Britain voted to leave.
Plaid Cymru - Welsh nationalist party-
- Major Welsh party
- Controls the Welsh assembly with the Labour party
Democratic Unionist Party-
- The conservative Protestant majority party in Northern Ireland
- Wants to leave the EU
- DUP has agreed to support the Conservatives in the Westminster Parliament
Sinn Fein-
- Majority party among the Catholic minority in Northern Ireland
- In favour of the withdrawal of Northern Ireland from the United Kingdom
SDLP-
- Social Democratic Party and Labour Party of Northern Ireland
- Non-sectarian social democratic party made up of both Catholics and Protestants
