Final draft of Posters

Final draft I have made these posters for my final draft. The first one has my model standing on a tree trunk looking into the distance. I have edited it in a way that makes the picture brighter and less dark, but if I was making this poster again, I would make sure that when I re shoot this picture l, you are able to see the clothes such as the t shirt more clearly. I would do this as the clothes are supposed to be the centre of the poster, so I need to make them be more of the focus. I would also have it so that she is at a right angle as the picture looks slightly odd because she is tilted slightly. The logo is in a different place in both the pictures, so I need to frame them better if I retook them so that there is continuity. The second poster is of my model in an archway of trees. I like the perspective and how the path follows upwards, and I believe that if I have my model more to the left, the path would flow nicely in the picture. I again made the picture brighter

The male gaze in Papa Roach- ...To Be Loved

The male gaze in a music video of my choice- Papa Roach- ...To Be Loved      We can see in the music video, and the image below, that this video is aimed at a male audience as the Rock genre has generally more male listeners than female. Because of this, the video is focused on the lead singer, Jacoby Shaddix, with lots of girls, some of which wearing revealing outfits. Jacoby is used to represent a situation that men would like to relate to, so the male audience do this.  The singer Jacoby looks at the predominantly male audience as if to say, this is what you can be like if you live like me ( a rocker). The audience may look back at him with a sense of want or jealousy as that is the life they want to have. However, the female audience may be looking at the video with a sense of disgust as they know that that is a dream and not a reality, but also because the women in the video are dressed very scarcely, they may dislike the video because of that reason.

•Demographic- The audience for Deutschland 83 is from ABC1 demographic as the audience would require an extent of background knowledge on the cold war, so would have to be relatively educated. •Psychographic- audiences of Deutschland 83 would enjoy similar shows in the genre of Deutschland 83 (Thriller, History, War, Drama) due to the niche topic. They may have an interest in historical dramas or foreign dramas. How does this affect: •The content of the text? This may result in the text being more intellectual and historically accurate as the producers target audience is most likely to have a basic understanding of the context of the series. •Advertising? Advertising will be done on TV possibly during the adverts of another TV drama that has a similar target audience to Deutschland 83.
